About

Patrice Jones-Cornish currently serves as the Child Development Associate Navigator at the Early Childhood Innovation Center at Delaware State University. She brings over 20 years of experience working with children from birth to age five. Patrice is deeply passionate about supporting early childhood professionals in advancing their education and careers. She is also committed to community service, particularly through her work with individuals experiencing homelessness. 

A proud DE RISE Scholar, Patrice earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Services with a concentration in Early Childhood Administration from Springfield College in December 2023. She now serves as the 2024-2025 ECIC DE RISE Bachelor’s Ambassador, continuing her dedication to expanding access to education and creating a positive impact in the community.
